About Judge Shera Grant

Judge Shera Grant grew up in Birmingham, AL and is a proud product of the Bessemer and Birmingham Public School Systems. She graduated from Ramsay Alternative High School and attended college at Alabama State University on a full academic scholarship, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Computer Information Systems.

Why Judge Shera Grant

After graduating from law school, Judge Grant began her legal career in Atlanta, Georgia as a trial attorney. While working as an attorney, she developed an alternative sentencing program for youthful offenders in lieu of prosecution.
